Easy Death

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: The Divine Spirit is not afraid of death. Therefore, if you Commune with the Divine Spirit, if you are really intimate with the Divine Spirit in this present moment, then the body-mind’s reactivity to death relaxes. The more profoundly you enter into Divine Communion, the less you associate with the tendencies of the body-mind. Death can be easy in that case. If you are entered into the Divine Spirit in the process of death, then the body will go through the natural process of death without aberrating your consciousness. Death will be natural, easy surrender. There will be no clinging and no fear.

Death should be, and in general can be, easy, natural in this sense. But, if death is to be easy, you must be linked to the Divine Reality that Transcends the body-mind. Otherwise, if you are simply identified with the body-mind and contracting, you are, as a matter of course, going to awaken in fear at the point of dying, and you are going to awaken in many other emotions and reactions that will determine your destiny after death.

The Living One, the One Who Is Alive, the One with Whom you are truly Identical, does not need a body-mind, is not afraid of releasing the body-mind, is not associated with a body-mind that is programmed to die and that is gradually self-destructing. Just as annual plants self-destruct in one cycle of the seasons, so death is built into the body-mind. But the Divine Self is not afraid of this program. It is completely Free of all the implications of this dying.

The persona that is constructed upon the basis of identifying with the body-mind, contracting as the body-mind, is out of synchronicity with the Divine Freedom and Purpose. And so this persona is afraid. There is the Transcendental Divine Self-Condition, and there is the body-mind in all the mechanics of cosmic Nature, and then there is this persona, this “I”, which is totally out of sync with both the body-mind and its Ultimate Source-Condition. You, as the “I”, or the persona, are not only out of sync with the Divine Self-Condition. You are also out of sync with the body-mind, because the body-mind does not want to live forever. You want to live forever. The persona wants to live forever.

The Way of the Heart is not the Way to get in sync with the body-mind, but it is the Way to get in sync with the Transcendental (and Inherently Spiritual) Divine Being. To do so will also cause the persona to relax and to enter into unity with the body as equanimity, the sattvic condition that expresses Communion with the Divine Self-Condition. Then you will go through the life-cycle in a balanced state, with the persona, or the reactive ego, relaxed and the body-mind in a state of equanimity. Your characteristics will become those of the Living One, the Self-Existing and Self-Radiant Divine Being, and fewer and fewer of the characteristics of the persona will appear. Over time, they will gradually disappear, and the body-mind will go through its inevitable destiny naturally, free of its changes while alive and free also in the death process, as in going to sleep or in meditation. You will simply be entering into a profound state of unity with the Divine Being.

Death is truly such Samadhi, but you live--or die--death as the ego, the persona, the “I”, and so you do not feel it to be Samadhi. You do not feel that its implications are the same as those of profound meditation and Ultimate Samadhi. You feel death is an ending, a loss, a threat. Such a psyche only expresses dissociation from the Living One.

Therefore, while alive, enter into the Baptism of Communion with My Spiritual (and Always Blessing) Presence and understand this persona and relax it, allow it to enter into a unified state with the body-mind, so that the body-mind exists in a state of equanimity, and live in Divine Communion perpetually, so that the characteristics of the Living One, which are the characteristics of Divine Samadhi, or Divine Being, become your characteristics. In that case, then, death is easy death. Death has its native form, which is simply the Divine Being’s relinquishing a particular mechanism and not losing anything in the process.

Your consciousness must become one with this Divine Reality. You must magnify your association with That, enter into Communion with That, rather than reinforce the persona, or the egoic tendencies of attention. In this way you prepare yourself for death, but you also live well. You live in wisdom. And if you have lived a lifetime in this wisdom, then death will certainly become a profound event, not different in kind from profound meditation.

Herbal medicine has been a life long and passionate study for those of us at Traditional Botanical Medicine. Our prescriptions draw upon the wisdom that comes from the great traditional medical systems of China, India and Tibet. They are powerful because they are written specifically for each person.

When it comes to regenerating the body, specifically prescribed herbal medicine is best.
